#MoralMonday “World” by Five For Fighting

Where do you pray for God’s justice, peace, and compassion to be poured out today?

World

by Five For Fighting

Got a package full of wishes
A time machine, a magic wand, a globe made out of gold
No instructions or commandments
Laws of gravity or indecisions to uphold

Printed on the box I see
A.C.M.E.’s build a world to be
Take a chance, grab a piece
Help me to believe it

What kind of world do you want? Think anything
Let’s start at the start, build a masterpiece
Be careful what you wish for
History starts now

Should there be people or peoples
Money, funny pedestals for fools who never pay
Raise your army, choose your steeple
Don’t be shy, the satellites can look the other way

Lose the earthquakes, keep the faults
Fill the oceans without the salt
Let every man own his own hand
Can you dig it, baby?

What kind of world do you want? Think anything
Let’s start at the start, build a masterpiece
Be careful what you wish for
History starts now

Sunlight’s on the bridge
Sunlight’s on the way
Tomorrow’s calling
There’s more to this than love

What kind of world do you want?
What kind of world do you want?

What kind of world do you want? Think anything
Let’s start at the start, build a masterpiece
Yeah, history starts now, starts now

Be careful what you wish for
Start now, now

  1. Good one. I’m praying for the new administrative electorate that has been placed into power here in the USA. That the infighting will cease and what is “best and sustainable” will be achieved, not just laws for the sake of saying, “hey, we’ve passed some legislation.” That all parties will see the destruction and unsustainability in our world, not just our nation, but how Science is real, and not to be switched out with mathematical theories of Design. That God will purge the system throughout the world of those in power who cease to seek peace and community. That young boys in oppressed nations will see their sister girls as “humans,” not something to own or sit idly by…but have thoughts, power, intellect, and sport agility and ability. That faith will rise up and people will be treated equally, as the Jefferson Memorial in DC proclaims on it’s rounded walls of fame. And lastly, I pray that what has been done in harm, God will turn to good, as He promised and this time of the test of faith will grow stronger and mightier than can be conceived by human mind. Let Peace Reign!
